Job Description

Plan, execute, and finalize short and long-term projects according to defined university facilities & planning and Corporation policies, guidelines and budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of all internal and external stakeholders and third-party vendors in order to deliver projects according to plan. Proactive, strategic thinker whose skills contribute to the efficient, systematic and profitable operation of the company’s units. Research and compile data, develop reports, complete special projects and assist in coordinating the planning for specific projects. Budget preparation, administering and assisting in policy formulation, coordination of internal control functions and representing the Corporation at various committees and meetings. Provides assistance to the stakeholders as necessary in the performance of studies and other projects.

BS degree from an accredited four-year university in the field of Construction Management or related field or equivalent work experience

Five years of direct work experience in a construction management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution

Licensed general contractor preferred

LEED AP certificate preferred

Possession of a valid California Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record

Must hold California Dept. of Public Health certificate in lead and asbestos management, or be able to obtain required certification within six months of being hired

This position is full time and exempt. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check, educational and employment verification, and reference check, as required.
