Children’s Center Director

Job Description

As a member of the Associated Students (ASI) full-time staff, the position directs the Children Center Staff. The CSUF Children Center has been established and operated for the purpose of making the educational opportunities at the University equally accessible to these parents of young children, regardless of sex, race, or financial status. The Children Center Program is on a university campus, serving student, staff and faculty parents with variable schedules, and includes a professional staff as well as student employees. The Children’s Center Director leads the teaching staff and student employees in the development, implementation and planning of care programs with a total enrollment of 200+ children ages three months to six years. The Children Center Director is responsible for ensuring the Center is safe and meets state and university regulations and is fully compliant.

The members that make up the Auxiliary Organizations Association (AOA) are the auxiliaries of the 23 campuses in the California State University (CSU) system. The mission of the AOA is to facilitate the role of individual auxiliaries on their respective campuses by providing the auxiliaries with the resources and services that enable them to be more effective.
