Financial Accountant/Analyst II/III

In support of the University’s research, creative, and scholarly activities, the Sponsored Programs Office provides post-award financial and compliance oversight for sponsored projects. The Contract and Grant Analyst II/III, also known as Financial Accountant/Analyst II/III, is responsible for provides post-award management and financial oversight for contracts, grants, center and institute accounts, and fee-for-service activities; representing the Corporation to sponsors in the negotiation of complex contracts for sponsored project funding; interpreting and analyzing federal, state, and sponsor regulations; financial tracking, reconciliation, and reporting on sponsored project accounts to the Corporation, University,CSU Chancellor’s Office, and sponsors; and providing guidance and information to project directors and other sponsored project staff in support of compliant post-award project management. The department will evaluate a candidate’s qualifications/experience to determine if the individual would be hired in at a level II or a level III analyst. Two years of technical or administrative experience. A graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Financial Accountant/Analyst III: Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university. Three years of technical or administrative experience. A graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. What AOA Does

The members that make up the Auxiliary Organizations Association (AOA) are the auxiliaries of the 23 campuses in the California State University (CSU) system. The mission of the AOA is to facilitate the role of individual auxiliaries on their respective campuses by providing the auxiliaries with the resources and services that enable them to be more effective.
